MG TD TF 1500 - Dumbiron stripper

We had a recent thread from a Mr. Abrahams in the UK who was having trouble reading the Car No. stamped into the dumbiron. Eventually he did find a chemical that stripped the dumbiron right down to basics and exposed the number. I asked about the product and Mr. Abrahams sent the answer directly to me.

the chemical which proved the magic ingredient to reveal the chassis number on my mg td's dumb iron was called "NITROMORS".
