MG TD TF 1500 - First test drive
Finally, tonight I could take Vera for a ride with her new five speed Sierra conversion. Clutch silky smooth, box shifts smoothly, and I can cruise at 55 mph with old XPEG turning lazily over. Will put in carpets and give her a wash and polish tomorrow, and hopefully some long distance cruising this weekend. Regards, Jan |

Terrific news Jan; and I'm assuming the Y-pipe worked out as expected. I'm still about 2-3 weeks before getting my TF on the road again,,,,not totally finished, but runnable. Cheers -- John |

Yes John, the Y pipe is in place, and does not leak a drop, so I am ready for a heater as the next upgrade project. It was extremely kind of you to offer me this crucial part for heat dependent TF owners. But now I hope to enjoy a long warm summer of overdrive cruising! |
