I plan to use four in series to create my own ejection seat. |

I want one for my fuel tank cap! darn...says "TD" so not sure it would work on a TF. |
David Sheward |
LMAO: I was going to ask if it would work for the 1955 TF also: "We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing." |

Hahaha.... the MG TD "Flamethrower Exhausts" used to make me chuckle also! :D |

The ad. says one wire-- I'm not sure if that one wire is positive ground or not. I guess I can't use it on my car as it's still positive ground. |
David Werblow |
But will it really fit my D-type? |
t lange |
The wire is "pre-stretched" . This makes it polarity insensitive. A few years before the Indian mc company went bancrupt they introduced a series of parallell twin engines where the cam chain had no provision for adjustment. To get away with this cost cutting measure the marketing dept at the factory invented the concept of the "pre-stretched cam chain". Needless to say, this did not turn out to be a viable concept... "Flamethrower Exhausts" Isn't that part of the "kit" when you buy the neon windshield washer nozzels? |
David Sheward |
I think that the power trunk release will really compliment my power side curtains! |
Steven Tobias |
I used a home-made version of this "kit" when I shaved the nose and trunk of my 1946 Plymouth coupe. It was when I was young and more of a car nut than I am now! |
