MG TD TF 1500 - Honest eBay TD - cool accessory

This seems like a really honest TD on eBay - 290917798683. It all depends on how much the seller wants for it! I particularly like the air intake accessory, which I take to be a vacuum gauge?

Maybe its an early O2 sensor. Poor baby has had some use in it's life.

Mounted in that position...a non-functional vacuum gauge. Very odd.

Looks honest and solid to me as well.
steering wheel seems to be a repro, though, odd color and no cracks

Driver eject button perhaps - probably about as functional as the vacuum? meter on the air intake elbow. Cheers - Dave

My guess is that it is either a replacement horn button for a non-working original or a high beam flasher to oncoming traffic. My car had a doorbell button mounted on the dash wired up as a high beam flasher.

Replacement horn button would be my guess.
