MG TD TF 1500 - Lucas Parts Search

Hi chaps,

Just a quickie to let you know I have added a Lucas parts search to my eBay helper site. I've divided Lucas Parts into nearly 30 different categories, from Alternators to Wiper Motors. The filtering matches on synonyms (e.g. the "headlamps" category picks up HEADLAMP, HEAD LAMP, HEAD LAMPS, HEADLAMPS, HEAD LIGHT, HEAD LIGHTS and so on) and common spelling mistakes as well (such as "guage").

The suggestion came from a visitor to the site who regularly searched for Lucas on eBay and often picked up parts for his TC that were listed as Austin 10 spares or similar.

You'll have to do some manual browsing and sifting to get T-Type relevant stuff (for instance, try keyword searching on the Lucas part number you're interested in, or generic terms such as "Vintage"), but hopefully it will be a helping hand in your search for NOS parts.

As always, any feedback (such as suggestions for different subcategories) is welcomed. I'll be adding a similar search for SU, but not for a week or two. If there are any other manufacturer searches you would like to see, let me know.

Great work again Steve! Thanks! One suggestion would be to add the term "generator," as right now doing a US search for "dynamo" is fine, but all Lucas generator parts or units are not picked up.

Sorta related, I saw a red coil nut tonight on ebay. Just a heads up for whoever was looking for one a while ago, or someone that got an idea from that post.
