MG TD TF 1500 - Meaning of 'Main headlamps' ?

I'm assuming this refers to high-beam, but with the difference in British/American language , it's hard to be sure....If so, then "Dip" must be low-beam...
Correct? Needed for install and tagging of new harness.

I believe "Main" is what we call the high beam and "Dip" is the low beam.

It looks like the weeds are sprouting out of your wiring harness. What color flowers do you expect?

Jim is correct, Main is high beams and dipped is low beams. On earlier British cars, the headlights were physically dipped downward when approaching another car. Cheers - Dave
