MG TD TF 1500 - Meaning of 'Main headlamps' ?
| I'm assuming this refers to high-beam, but with the difference in British/American language , it's hard to be sure....If so, then "Dip" must be low-beam... Correct? Needed for install and tagging of new harness. See image attached. Thanks ![]() |

| I believe "Main" is what we call the high beam and "Dip" is the low beam. |

| It looks like the weeds are sprouting out of your wiring harness. What color flowers do you expect? ;-) |

| Jim is correct, Main is high beams and dipped is low beams. On earlier British cars, the headlights were physically dipped downward when approaching another car. Cheers - Dave |
