My father has a 1947 Plymouth and he and I were having lunch just today with a friend who has a '48. We spent a few minutes talking about what a fun car it is to drive.

My first car was a '52 Plymouth sedan - bought it in 1960 for $150. Smoothest engine, best AM radio I ever had. Can't type - need one hand to wipe the tears.

I had a beautiful black 48 plymouth coupe with the dodge engine and a "split manifold". What a beautiful sound. We bent the dual exhaust system ourselves with a hydraulic pipe bender my fiends dad had. I wish I had that car today...

That's the neatest family story. Last year I played Pebble Beach with my two boys for my 70th. This year it's our 50th wedding using wedding cars tunbridge wells anniversary. I am expecting something spectacular after I send this to them.
