MG TD TF 1500 - Oil cloth, another thought
I was staying at a hotel this past weekend attending The New England MG "T" Register 2013 Kimber Festival (excellent and fun event BTW...) and I came upon a revelation. While standing in the hallway staring at the wall, I saw something. The wall paper looked just like Rexine, or Oilcloth from an unrestored mg td dashboard. So, for all the purists out there who can't bear to cover the dash with vinyl, try looking through wall paper books, you just might find a good match. Just a thought. -David |

david, rexine/buckram is readily availabel at modest cost in either the original fabric weave look or the later embossed leather look. regards, tom http://longs-roullet.com/buckram.htm http://www.covermaterial.com/ http://www.hollingworthmoss.co.uk/buckram_swatch.htm |

david, i should have included in my message that i like outside of the box thinking, thank you for posting. i also should have made a special note about Karen Roulett Lauderback at longs-roullett...she went above and beyond and seems interested in helping other MG owners. regards, tom |

Tom, thanks for posting. No offense taken, just sharing an observation. -David |

David S. - Does that hotel now have a bare wall, devoid of wall paper? ;-) Cheers, Dave D. |

Or are there some dashboard shaped marks on the walls? |

I would avoid some of the 1970's floral wallpapers myself. I'm looking for a wallpaper that has an octagon theme pattern. Matthew. |
