MG TD TF 1500 - OT...the other one....
| Haven't posted anything about the Wolseley for a bit...promised i wouldn't...anyway...quick update..After dealing with spongy brakes all last year, i sprung for a new rebuilt Power Brake Servo from England (air mailed)...as the old one was pretty ragged when we took it apart...even with the new one we couldn't get the brakes to set up... took apart the mc and found pitting, holes and a lot of rust, etc...had both the brake and clutch master cylinders rebuilt and sleeved(stainless steel)...(why can i get a 4 cyl block bored for $500 and it costs that to add two sleeves to a 1" pair of mc....enquiring minds want to know)...anyway...we gravity bled, power bled and bled the good old fashioned way and finally after 2 years i can stop on the proverbial dime...!!! Decided to flip the new tires as i had put the whitewalls 'inside' last summer when i got the new ones....bit flashy, but what the hell...you know we colonials..... Am hoping the darn thing makes it to Delavan Wi in July....  |

| Since we're completely off-topic, here's another one which might interest you Gordon. I part exchanged it for my freshly restored 1963 MG midget and so far haven't regret it ! This one has of course the Nuffield six cylinder OHC unit but what a magnificent running engine ! Because of all this my MG TD is still waiting to be restored though.... Ah well...
