I love that you stopped to pet the pooch! |

Raymond, I am thoroughly enjoying your treks around Oslo. I look forward to many more. Do not discontinue them as those who want to bypass the adventures simply opt to do so. I am impressed and, not at all surprised, at your current city's cleanliness. I saw minimal trash on sidewalks and streets in your videos. Thanks for the pleasure rides. Jerry 1951 TD and 1954 TF |

Excellent Raymond !!!!!!!!! I am supprised to see that there doesn't seem to be any traffic control at many of the intersections of streets!!,,No stop signs, no yeild signs, no traffic lights!! No caution signs,, Just drive through!!!! SPW |
STEVE WINCZE |
Raymond, that's very nice, and I sure do like your choices of "traveling music", The Count with Ella on the first, I couldn't identify the pianist and group in the second. That makes the trip even more enjoyable. Al |

Raymond, great scenery and fabulous weather. Enjoyed the ride through Olso !! Steve, Europe normally uses a "right before left" traffic control for minor streets. Only main streets have priority signs and Stop signs for the others. Sure saves a lot of roadsigns - however, they make it up with all sorts of no parking signs where you just paint the curb... Raymond, Love the ride, love the tours AND the music. Miss the sound of the motor, gear changes and the exhaust note. Looking forward to tour #3. PLEASE drive some more. George |

George, this project is just in the test period. It does not seem to attract very many here, but I will continue. Re. sound of the car, I had a rattle from the monopod set up that dominated the sound recording. This is one of the things I have to fix. Also, Oslo is not at the nicest now. It will look nicer when the leaves on the trees have sprung. That usually happens in May, but nothing regarding the weather is normal any more. It would be nice if people here could spread the news about the rides in Oslo to others who might be interested! |

Raymond, Thw wife and I are very much enjoying the rides. Don't forget to take some puppy treats with you next time! |

Ray I watched your videos last night. Very enjoyable. Oslo looks like a lovely city. Can you post a photo of the way you attach the camera to the car? Is it on the luggage rack? The streets were so quiet. Was it early Sunday morning? Tom Norby (Norweigean from way back) '54 TF |
Tom Norby |
-Tom, I already did that! Just look for two posts from me further down here. And, yes, your name is perfectly Norwegian! |

Raymond! These films are wonderful. You should link them to the Norwegian MG club's website as well, so all the "B" guys can see what a real MG ride looks like from this angle.. regards, Jan |
Jan Kristoffersen |
Jan, I have done that. But the regular Forum is closed, so I had to use the Technical Forum. |

Raymond, I just finished viewing your second tour. Absolutely wonderful. Please continue, they put a smile on my face every time! Thanks, Kirk |

Raymond, What a great pair of Videos. I loved seeing Oslo from the back of a TD. I'm thinking I should now set up a camera and show people the Marlborough, New Zealand wine region from the back of a TF. Great, please continue. Cheers, Larry |
Larry McFadden |
Larry, that would be great! Please do that. |

You know...not a bad idea....show off our tourist regions via rides in MGT cars..... We all must have interesting locations close by.... now days car mounts are pretty cheap..... (am looking at that GoPro roll bar mount/s to see if they take other cameras...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pOcRshllWo ...this with my Canon mounted to a mount I made for a much lighter little camera...bit bouncy i'm afraid...... |

Larry, do it! |

Good idea, We can view each others area. The last time I shot a video from mt TD I just wedged a tripod behind the passenger seat and using a Lumix TZ8. Does not pick up the engine / exhaust note but provides a good view of the route. On my TDs 60th birthday on 13th June 2011 I took my TD out for a run in the hills of mid- Wales. Maybe I should let you see the footage. Larry, I shall be in NZ early next year but unfortunately not in your area nor in my TD but up in Tauranga. Cheers, David. |
David Tinker |
Gordon, nice area you live in! I think it is a good idea to make videos from our home districts taken from our great cars. So come on everybody! |
