MG TD TF 1500 - TD for Sale in MI

Dear Friends,

Prior to his passing, Harold Thieda asked that I sell his MG-TD on behalf of his family. Harold owned and loved this car since 1970. It is titled as a 1953, but subtle differences indicate that it is a 1952 model. The car seems to be mechanically sound, but does need some fine tuning, the SU carburetors probably need rebuilding. The body metal and wood framing are very good as well as the original chassis. A recent repaint appears to not have been rubbed out. A new red leather interior has been installed. The re-chromed radiator shell is very nice. It sports five newer radial tires. Following a general inspection, it needs the following additional attention: top replacement, side curtain covers, front shock absorbers, bonnet and rear fender re positioning, gauge and instrument panel repair/rebuild, new door latches, and a new caring owner. This mg td is fairly priced at $8,999, but we are open to a reasonable offer. Please contact me for more information and to make an appointment.
