MG TD TF 1500 - TD SU Fuel Pump Pressure

Have early TF with same fuel pump set up as TD, on firewall. Have fuel pressure of 1PSI, can anybody confirm if this is correct?
SU electronic pump fitted.

GD - The maximum pressure from a AUA 25, low pressure fuel pump is 1.5 psi. The 1 psi you are reading should be all you need. See my web site at: http://homepages.donobi.net/sufuelpumps/ Cheers - Dave

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the confirmation that 1 PSI is OK. By the way my pump is tagged AUA66, I don't know if that means something is different or is just the electronic version.

Greg - The AUA 66 is a pump that is used on the Morris Minor. It is the same pump used on the T series cars, but it has an outlet fitting that has a barb type connection, whereas the AUA 25, used on the T series cars, have a 1/4 compression fitting like what is used on the inlet fitting. To turn an AUA 66 pump into a AUA 25 pump, the outlet fittings has to be changed - otherwise the two pumps are identical (If you pump has a 1/4 compression fitting, take the AUA 66 tag off of it).
