MG TD TF 1500 - TF interior and seat trim Question?

Hi all.
Am just about to buy the interior and seat trim kits for my TF.
After a lot of thinking, and as the paint is dark red ive almost decided to go with biscuit rather than tan,as it will lighten up the inside.
May go with tan carpet though!
Not yet decided on the hood/tonneau colour.
My question is primarily for the UK owners out there.
Who would you recommend to get the int and seat trim kits, and carpets from?
Moss,B&G,MGOC,anyone else?
Are they all supplied by Moss anyway?
Who gives good value and good quality?
I dont want to buy the kit, only to find you have to buy another bit of trim to complete the job??
A int kit is a full kit in my book!!
I am going with original int spec not full leather, and leather seats.
If you have some good pics of your fitted trim in biscuit or even tan, feel free to post the so I can see what the end result will look like!
Cheers Dave

Moss USA kit...every thing you need in bisciut. Can't speak for Moss UK. I much prefer the biscuit over the tan ones I've seen but I suppose it's a matter of personal taste.

As a side note..I found original pieces of the red fabric in spots. It was a very bright red and not the darker red on the kits I have seen from Moss.

I bought some biscuit coloured material and some piping from them and it was a perfect match.

Biscuit I think.

I purchased the moss seat kits,,, They looked good when in itially installed, but within a few years, thay started to show wear.... The material that they call leather is very thin, and rather than getting that "patina" look, the backing material that the "leather" is adheared to is showing through in a few places,, I am sorry that I didn't go for a more expensive material, but at the time, I didn't realize what inferior material it is. The material that they use is not for a car that is used often,,,
Try to get a small sample from various suppliers to be able to compare quality,,,

Puzzling Steve. I've got about 20000 miles and 6 years of butt time on mine and have none of the problems you describe. I do give the seats a treatment of Connally Hide Food about once a year.

I'll try to get a picture,,,
seems like every where that there is a crease, it's wearing through,,,,

Wm Collingburn has a very good reputation as a traditional MG trim supplier in the UK. You could also try NTG in Ipswich who provide a range of trim supplies.
For various reasons I used NTG's trim kit (in biscuit) along with new seat bases from Collingurn. The trim panels ended up needing some cutting to fit and reglueing of the vinyl, which I gather is not exceptional, otherwise were fine.

Hi Pilkie,
I totally endorse Tim's comments. Wm Collingburn (Yorkshire I think) is one of the best I have seen. I had my full interior made by him about 15 years ago in biscuit (dark green duco). It is genuine Connally hide, nothing cheap and nasty here, abit on the expensive side, but still great value for the product you will receive. Everything fitted perfectly and I do mean perfectly. I did not need to cut or alster any panel or seat cover. I am a very happy and satisfied customer as are many others here in Australia.

LaVerne, I really liked your steering wheel! What is it?

Steve,

I am surprised by your experience with the Moss seat kits.
Although I purchased mine from Moss quite a few years ago, the leather is beautiful, not thin and has no backing of any kind adhered to the leather. Are you sure yours are not vinyl?
Best,
James
