MG TD TF 1500 - TF transmission cover
Anyone have a photo of what the interior transmission cover looks like on a 55 TF? Is it aluminum or steel? PJ |

Paul, Are you talking about parts of the gear box itself, or the metal (steel) interior cover that goes over the bellhousing and the gearbox and mounts to the floor? Mike D. |

Paul, they are the same as a TD. Take a look at my website for pictures. http://www.dbraun99.com warmly, dave |

Nice web site Dave. I like the TD restoration documentation, quite extensive. Thanks for the link. PJ |

Thanks Paul. I probably should have mentioned that the gearbox and propshaft tunnels are in the mg td15470 Restoration » Tub and Wings » Floors section, and not the gearbox clutch section. It seemed to make sense at the time... warmly, dave |

Here's my transmission cover, other than carpet, what's missing? PJ![]() |

Can't see anything missing....... |

I didn't think so either Steve, but someone said something was and me not knowing anything about TFs, I thought I'd ask. Thanks for your input. I just sent for the reprint of the factory service manual from Moss. Wow, I'm glad I only need one of those! Also picked up a reprint owners manual. PJ |
