MG TD TF 1500 - Turn signal switch wanted for TD
By chance does anyone have a TD turn signal switch (working or not) they would like to sell? Can't find one on Ebay recently. Please respond off line at efhask at roadrunner dot com. Thanks, Ed |

Ed, I purchased one off ebay last week for a client. Look again, but don't restrict your search to mg td... or to the United States... anyway, you have mail. dave |

Wow! 4 offers total via email & hre. (It also helps if you enter "indicator switch", not "turn signal switch" on Ebay.) Ian, hold that thought. If I don't have one by then I'll take you up on it. Ed |

The body shop that butchered our TF broke the turnsignal switch where the thumb nut holds it to the dash. I successfully fixed it with J B Weld. I wrapped masking tape around the shaft, then applied the J B Weld. I used more masking tape as a mold to repair the broken plastic. After it started to set up, but before it hardened I cut the threads with the nut. Don't forget to wash wit. Acetone and dry before applying the epoxy. If not for JB Weld there would be a few MGs in Vermont in pieces. |

Ed, I have one that came with my car. The threads on the main nut that holds it in the bracket were cross-threaded so I just bought a new one. You are welcome to this one if you haven't got a better offer. Let me know. Mort |
