MG TD TF 1500 - Video camera on the TD

Here is a couple of images of the way I mount the GoPro camera on the mg td.
I use a monopod, in my case a Manfrotto. This has some advantages. If I have to leave the car, I just release the camera from the top of the monopod. Also, with the ballhead, I can direct the camera in any direction I want, independent of the angle of the monopod itself.
One problem, though, the Go Pro has no incamera viewfinder. I just guessed how to direct it, but with this extreme wide-angle, it is difficult to miss.
