MG TD TF 1500 - What is missing #2

Sorry to start another thread, but now that I know I'm missing something, and my rims are different than some others, (as shown in my other rim thread), I decided to post a photo of the bottom (inside and out), of my rims, to find out if I (a) even have the right rims, and (b) if so, what hardware should I have for them....
I will probably have to either make something or spend even more on new rims...Any photos are very welcome...

Help on this is greatly appreciated.

Edward, you have the wrong rims. This is probably why the fitting of the lens with the spring clips was so difficult. The rim should have a tab on the bottom to go in the slot of the headlight bucket. I probably have a good set of rims for sale.

Hugh,

If Edward doesn't need the rims, I may need them. Just let me know at patrick dot earles at comcast dot net. I have a set but they were not original. They were painted. I have since bead blasted and primed them but I would ultimately like to have a pair of chrome rims.

Thank you,

Patrick

Clip mystery solved. No way those rims will work.

Hugh
Do you have a photo of the "correct" rims that you have for sale?
Please email me with details.
Meanwhile, my rims were on the car before I disassembled the car...they were painted, and I had them chromed....
Came back to me without the fittings, and I didn't realize that parts were missing until yesterday.

Does anyone know what car my rims are from?....Maybe chrome guy sent me someone else's ....
E.B. Wesson

...those certainly look like 'big old american' style rims?

See my other thread on this....Mystery is solved.

E. B.,

They look a lot like late 50's Ford but it is just a guess from 25 year old memory. Hope you find the real thing.

At first I thought they might be Voxhall Victor F covers. Used to own one of those many years ago, but in looking at the picture, I don't think that is it.

I'm pretty sure that they are from an Austin Mini Cooper...At least the photo I found on ebay looked just like them.

Update:
MY rims came by mail today....Look totally different than the other ones.
I haven't had a chance to put the lamps in yet, but , hopefully, it will go well.
Thanks for following my tale of woe.
