...may have to use the touch up kit... is the engine on it's side or is that the right hand side of a flat head V-8? regards, tom
tom peterson
I think a few bars of taps is in order.
L E D LaVerne
It's on it's side...see the 7th photo.

What do you think of the cash value?
David Werblow
"Runs & Drives: Unknown" LMAO
David Sheward
THIS is why everybody should have a battery cut off switch and a fire extinguisher. Always. I've saved two cars from certain destruction with a fire extinguisher so far. -David

It just made the graveyard :-) http://www.mg-cars.org.uk/mgtd/Pictures/Graveyard/Thumbnails/mgtd_graveyard.htm
Chris Couper
I would bid on this one. I see a lot of parts that still look good. Block, rear end, probably a transmission in there. Engine blocks for the TD are getting harder and harder to find. Anyone live near this place that might assist if I were to purchase it.? I did not know about the graveyard. I have a car for that. I think it was posted on one of the TD owners sites. Will see if I can find it.

Fellas Judging the heat intensity that this has been exposed to I wouldnt touch any of the components with a ten foot stick. Graeme
G Evans
Color: Beige LOL! I'm with Graeme, too much heat there. Looks more garage fire than car fire. Park it in front of a modern art gallery as an exhibit. Matthew.
M Magilton
Nothing really put together so probably somebody's project that went up in smoke with their house. Sad.
Richard Taylor TD3983
Chris, Check your email ...just sent you another one for the graveyard. David
David Sheward
Looks like a fascinating bit of sculpture. BobbyG
Bobby Galvez
At least one point of originality: the disc wheels have 15 vent holes. Jim E.
JC Elliott
Oh! Dang!! Now I have to go count mine. How many did they come from Abington with (or should that be - with how many did they come from Abington?)? Jud
J K Chapin
Jud, neither. It's Abingdon.
Dave Braun
The frame still looks good to me, the wood seems to have suffered a bit. And no oil stains to see, just a little surface rust... Mike
Mike Fritsch
I'd say the car is 100% toast. But if I had a way to get it here, I'd still put a small bid on it. The poor thing would have a permanent resting place as a piece of art in my garage.
