MG TD TF 1500 - Wiring diagram for 5 post regulator

Wondering if anyone has a copy? The owner's manual I have from the PO is a repro but shows only a 9 post regulator wiring diagram...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Octagonally wired, (would that be 8 posts?)

Dave L -- The wiring diagrams that appeared in the centerfold of the TSO (2006) showed the internal connections of the 5 and 9 post regulators. Depending on which schematic you were looking at.

If you don't have the TSO's maybe I could find an mga book that would have the 5 post diagram. Copyright problems with sending TSO information.
Cheers,

Dave, are you trying to repair a five post regulator, or are you trying to wire a car with a five post regulator?

Dave L. -- TSO's are the bimonthly journal of the NEMGTR. They are all copyrighted and this BBS is monitored by a great many people. I have tried to send you the wiring diagram from another source by way of Outlook Express. A program I am not very familiar with, and my scanner insists on sending anything I scan to OE.

I am in the process of being switched from Adelphia over to Comcast. It is turning out to be a long and painful process.
Cheers,
Bob

Dave L. - Send me the year of your car and your e-mail address and I'll send you the diagram for it that come from the shop manual, I have all of them scanned into our computer. It has a good drawing of the regulator in it. Since Bob Jeffers won't say anything on the BBS, I'll say it - If you find that your regulator is bad, send it to him and let him convert it to solid state. You will get back, what looks on the outside like your original regulator (only nice and shiny), but the innards will be state of the art solid state and which is calibrated to work with your specific genertor works the way it should. Dave D. -- Thanks for the kind words.

Dave D,
Just sent ya an email...and thanks!

Oh, yeah, fixing to send my regulator or another to Bob as soon as I find a bit of time around the house.

Thanks,
