Triumph TR6 - Transmission Tunnel

I'm going to be replacing my transmission tunnel with a plastic unit. Is there anything weird I should be aware of or lookig for. I'm wondering if I should relpace my clutch at the same time?

Robert,

It's not too hard to pull your tranny through the car once you get the old cover off. So, replacing the clutch may be an option for you. If you do take the tranny out, I highly suggest replacing the square pin (Moss part number 596-055) that holds the fork on the clutch shaft.

Also, check your rear oil seal on your tranny. I don't know the situation on your car, but mine was sitting for ten years. When I got it running, tranny oil was coming out the back end of the tranny. I realized the rear seal (Moss 120-700 for non-OD) was leaking - I just replaced it this past weekend.
